Hip-hop/Rap song about Depersonalization/Derealization by Vinnie Paz.

And with that, I’ll be heading offline for now as I’m having a pretty bad headache and want to go to bed. :c

I’ll try to reply to the rest of the asks left tomorrow.

Goodnight to all! <3

I haven't struggled with it in the past few years, other then a quick moment here and there. It's never happened every few days, and I was wondering if you had any tips on how to keep yourself from getting into that state and/or how to get out of it. I know it tends to be anxiety induced, so regular relaxation exercises *should* help prevent it.

Since your depersonalization seems to be more episodically and as you said it tends to be anxiety induced, calming/grounding techniques should be of help to you.

There are some very helpful techniques, both mentally and physically that hopefully will be of use for you here:

I mean i may be like that too but i'm not sure if it is real. And i don't know what to do anymore. But i saw you and i said that maybe you could help me with some details... That other people have it too? Sorry if bothered... Have a good day.

Yes, there are many other people that suffer with depersonalization too.

As to how I feel, well, it isn’t as bad as it was around the first few months I got it. Also, some people feel differently as there are many different symptoms of DP.

I myself feel mainly the more common ones, such as feeling somewhat dream-like, numb (both emotionally and physically a bit), tired. As to how I view the world, sometimes if I’m having a bad case of DR, it’ll seem somewhat virtual/movie-like.

I hope you have a good day as well, and just know that you didn’t bother me at all. :) If you have more questions or need more advice, don’t be afraid to message me.

You are not going crazy and you definitely aren’t the only one.

Also, sure, I’ll respond to you privately/personally. Just message me off anon. ^_^

Yes, depersonalization is an annoyance.

But, it’s an annoyance that when one goes through, will shape them into a better person, and when it’s gone, they’ll be one of the most strongest people ever due to how much they fought through it.

I believe this artwork depicts how depersonalization feels to many people very well. Thank you very much for the submission!

Those lyrics do indeed sound very much like how DP/DR feels.

Thank you for sharing! :)

I haven’t heard of blacking out as being a symptom of neither depersonalizaton or derealization.

As for the autopilot feeling, yes, that is a very common symptom of depersonalization.
